Artzone Philosophy

Early introduction to art opens a world of creativity and opportunity for your child.  They will learn valuable art skills through our classes but more importantly they will build the confidence to create, design and innovate through many different media.

Qualified Art Teachers Most importantly Artzone is run by fully experienced Art Teachers (typically qualified from the Faculty of Education, NCAD).

Structured Aproach – We are teachers, and Artzone is an Art School, so we follow a structured curriculum. We set learning objectives, creative challenges and quality targets for every class, camp and event, each term, and the academic year as a whole.

Constant Innovation – The Artzone Studio Team prepare a brand new portfolio for each term. Every term tackles a new theme and a set of learning objectives. All activities are supported by detailed desk and web research. We produce strong and relevant teaching aids and support studies for every project. Our portfolios follow a tried and trusted structure but we aim never to repeat the exact same activity twice.

Artzone classes are focused on three main age groups:-

  • Juniors- 5 to 7 Years – Introduction to art concepts and techniques. Focus on confidence building and having fun.
  • Seniors – 8 to 12 Years – deeper exploration of various art techniques, taking a mini-project approach.
  • Teens – 12 to 16 – Intensive project based work, focused on deep exploration of one particular media each term. Suitable for students of all abilities, whether starting out or seeking an advantage on the Junior Cert curriculum. Class sizes are kept small

Customer Focus – Finally customers drive everything we do. We thrive on customer satisfaction. Our success is based on strong customer loyalty, and a high proportion of new students joining as a result of referrals from family, friends and teachers.

I am enquiring about art classes in the malahide area for my children, ages 9 and 11. I was wondering what are the size of classes, pupil teacher ratio?
