Hi Trish, Really sorry, Your older daughter would be perfect age for the camp but we only cater for Primary and Secondary School Children in our camps. The processes, policies and routines for caring for pre-schoolers is very different and the art projects would be very hard for them. It is worth waiting until they are ready. Take care! Paul

I have a 7 year old daughter in 1st Class and another daughter that will be 4 in early May. Can they both attend the Ballyroan Easter camp? Also, will they be assigned to the same group? Thanks!

My son Daragh really loved last week’s stop motion animation camp. He was very sad it was over. His young age wasn’t an issue at all, thankfully. It’s a great camp for something different, both fun and interesting and stimulating, and good for team work. He learnt a lot. Thanks very much,

If your son is keen to try it out he should be fine. We pitch it at 9 – 14 years, but this is just a guide – it is really about the level of interest. David and Dermot run a great course – they are kept fully engaged, working in teams on the concept, storyboarding, set building, character creation, shooting and editing their own movies. My son is 8 but very interested in stop motion animation (though no real experience of it). Would he be far too young for the Easter camp?
