what is the maximun age for the photograpy? do you need to bring your own camara?

    • Paul.Shorte@artzone.ie says:

Hi Edele, There is no maximum age as such but we tend to get a lot of 13 – 15 years in our specialist summer camps. Ian says people can work with basic cameras, smart phones, ipod touch …

  2. Joanne McDonald says:

Hi what would a teenager need to bring to the photography summer camp? Do you supply cameras?

    Thanks

    • Paul.Shorte@artzone.ie says:

Hi Joanne, We will have a supply of digital cameras at the camp, but students are welcome to bring their own. They don’t need to bring anything, although some will bring laptops for storing, editing etc.. Regards, Paul

Hello, I wonder if children under 11 years coupled well and if group setting is created.

    • Paul.Shorte@artzone.ie says:

The groups are generally split into sub-groups by age for project activities. The Tutor, Stephanie, is a qualified Art Teacher who works full time with Artzone running a variety of structured arts camps. Best regards, Paul

Just two places left Adrienne, We are limiting student numbers to 10 as this is our first photography camp at Artzone Studios. The Tutor, Stephanie, is a qualified Art Teacher who went on to study photography. Best regards, Paul

    Good morning,

My 14yr old is very interested in photography summer camp. Do you plan anytime during first 2 weeks of August? This is my holiday time from work and would be willing to drive from Carlow. If you plan a camp for Aug I will definitely book in advance.

    Thank you for your feedback,

    Kind regards,

    Tara

    • Paul.Shorte@artzone.ie says:

Hi Tara. Our Photography Camp was a new option added this year and booked out very early. We have Animation Camp and Sewing Camp on the first week of August (4th – 7th) and Film Camp (10th – 14th). All these camps are run by qualified, specialist art teachers. Best Regards, Paul

We are planning to run three or four photography camps this summer – we are finalising venues and tutors at the moment. The final plan will be updated on the website by the end of the week. It would be best to call the office 01 4063915 next week – they will be able to advise you best. Cheers, Paul

  12. Gillian says:

My daughter turns 10 in august – can you confirm that there are kids her age booked – she would love to do this course

    • Paul.Shorte@artzone.ie says:

Absolutely Gillian, That is fine. I would book it soon though as the Academy Camps are booking fast – particularly Photography, Drawing and Comics. If you have problems call 01 4990614 and ask for me. I will sort you out. Best regards, Paul

  13. Padraig says:

Have you room on Photography course beginning 11/7 for a 13 year old?

  14. Paul.Shorte@artzone.ie says:

Sorry Bridget, We only run the specialist courses in our own studios at the moment. The numbers are kept small to ensure quality. It is hard to run viable camps in other venues where we have rent on top of staff and material costs. We do hope to run a Tween/ Teen Programme in The Red Stables in future. Regards, Paul
