Classes

The weekly art class programme is what Artzone is really about. This is where our qualified Art teachers get to make a real difference - teaching new skills, building confidence and encouraging creativity.

Artzone work to a structured curriculum for the academic year (September to June) for the Junior, Senior and Advanced Groups. Our teachers research and develop a new portfolio every term. We never repeat the same class activity twice.

Artzone currently run classes across Dublin, Kildare and North Wicklow, including 2 new public venues and 2 new schools this September. Click on your childs age group above for further details.

Most of our classes are open to all. Extracurricular classes however tend to be exclusive to the pupils of the school we are working with.

Artzone classes are focused on three main age groups:-

- Juniors - 5 to 7 Years - Inroduction and grounding in various art concepts and techniques. Focus on art skills, confidence building and having fun.

- Seniors - 8 to 12 Years - deeper exploration of various art techniques, more challenges to create and innovate, taking a mini-project approach.

- Advanced - Teens - Intensive project based work, focused on deep exploration of one particular media each term. Suitable for students of all abilities, whether starting out or seeking an advantage on the Junior Cert curriculum. Class sizes are kept small
