Hi Cristina, Language is not a problem for our camps. All projects are supported by visual aids and support studies. We get a lot of Spanish, French, German students during the summer and they never have any problem taking part and mixing with Irish and English Children. We offer a full refund (no reason needed up to 5 days before the camp). If you couldn’t attend the summer camp due to force majeure we would offer the refund anyway. Best regards, Paul

Hi there
I would like to enquire about the availability for 2 of my children- boy aged 8 and a girl aged 11. I have been trying to encourage my daughter to go to something outside of school. She is very anxious about starting new things- and I wonder if they would be in the same group. The Saturday or tuesday clases in Artzone would suit.
thanks for your help
Margaret
No problem with availability in the Tuesday or Thursday Classes at Artzone Studios; or 10am or 11.15am in Ballyroan. They could both be in the same group (8-12 years). You can book a trial class if you are concerned about her settling. All our teachers are qualified, experienced teachers – they will make her feel very welcome and they encourage students to mix and socialise during class. Give us a call on 01 4990614 or book online Ballyroan https://artzone.class4kids.ie/venue/3/ballyroan-community-centre or Artzone Studios https://artzone.class4kids.ie/venue/2/artzone-studios. Regards, Paul
Hi,
your website states that the junior classes are for early school goers/aged 5-7yrs. I have 2 boys, one in junior infants and one in senior infants. Aged 4 and 5 respectively. Do the children have to be 5 years old or is it sufficient they attend school?
Thanks,
Sarah
Hi Sarah, Once they are in primary school they will be fine with us. Our processes and portfolios are designed to cater for Primary School going students. Give us a call to book a term or trial class on 01 4990614 or https://artzone.class4kids.ie/. Best regards, Paul
Hi,
My daughter is in 5th year and would like to join the portfolio classes run on a saturday in Rathfarnham. Would it be possible for her to join in term 2 and catch up on what she missed or would she have missed out on too much?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Helena.
Hi Helena, 5th year is the perfect time to begin your portfolio preparation, particularly if the student wishes to apply for art college in 6th year. You can join the 5th year course (Saturdays 1.30 – 3.30) with Louise at any stage; or the general vening course with Jessie (Wednesday 7 – 9pm) at any stage. For online booking see https://artzone.class4kids.ie/venue/2/artzone-studios or call our team on 01 4990614. We also run a two week bootcamp in June which would help your daughter assess where her portfolio is at, and what she needs to do to perfect it for college application in early 2018. Best regards, Paul
Hi There,
My Son Sean is 8 years old, is struggling a little academically, but absolutely adores art, in particular sketching! We live in Dundrum so I expect the Taney out of school class would be best. Can you tell me if sketching is part of the curriculum? Can i bring him to one class and pay for one class as a trial, before committing to a full term?
thanks Margaret
Hi Margaret, We cover the full visual arts curriculum. In that Senior (Tween) Group drawing would be a big part of every project. If he is into art he will love these classes – the teachers are all qualified art teachers and they design new and exciting portfolios every term. The particular teacher in Taney has many Texaco Prize Winning Young Artists in his classes. You can book a trial class before you commit longer term. I will send you an email invitation to register for the class. Best regards, Paul

Hello,
I live in France, am of Irish nationality, and will be staying in Bray, County Wicklow, next month (July 2017). I have two children, a 6-year-old boy and a 9-year-old girl.
I wish to enroll both in the Greystones summer course (17th July to 21st July).
Can I assume that if I make the booking and payment online today, the course will definitely take place?
Is it possible that the course might be cancelled (for whatever reason), in which case what reimbursement arrangements are in place?
Is the fact that my children are not Irish an issue? For information, my nine-year-old duaghter speaks perfect English, while my six-year-old son understands well but has a basic level of spoken English (French being his mother tongue)?
Thank you for your reply.
Kind regards.
Garrett
Hi Garrett, There is no chance that that camp will be cancelled. It will definitely go ahead no matter what. If you book and pay online we will give you a full refund for cancellations up to 5 working days before the camp starts. We will also refund in the case of illness or emergencies closer to the camp start. Language will not be an issue – we get lots of visiting Spanish, French, German and Korean children in particular in our summer camps. Our teachers are all qualified art teachers and all projects are supported by visual aids and support studies. The teachers will make sure your son understands what is going on and is fully involved in all the organised games during the breaks. You can book online here https://artzone.class4kids.ie/camp/39. Best regards, Paul

Mags

Hi,
I have just received a reminder email to register my son for the teenage art class which I have already done & he started last Saturday.
It has prompted me to email you, we arrived at class in ballyroan last Saturday to discover there was a new teacher in place. My son has been attending this class for over six years & has such a close bond with Liam, my son Rory was so upset when he left the class & decided he wouldn’t be going back as “it just wasn’t the same without Liam”, thankfully we found out Liam has a class on Wednesday evening which after speaking to Louise in your office we moved rory into. The reason why I am emailing you is my disappointment that it was never communicated with us that Liam would not be taking the class anymore and it is still advertised on your website that the teacher for the Saturday class is Liam cousins which to me is false advertising. If I had of know the situation I would have booked the Wednesday class from the outset and saved all the upset & distress it caused Rory on Saturday. Rory has started secondary school & the amount of change is his life at the moment is causing him uncertainty, arriving to art (his one love) on Saturday to find more change was the icing on the cake.
I await your response,
Edel kelly
