Artzone, Ireland’s leading children’s art school, has launched a new product to enable parents to host a fun art party in their own home anywhere in Ireland.
The Party Box is a new service created by Artzone, building on their successful Art Party at Home Service. Artzone organises parties in children’s homes supplying a teacher and all materials needed for a fun, cool party where children create their own artwork. Over the past few years Artzone have had a huge amount of requests from parents outside the Dublin region wishing to hold an art party but were too far away to avail of Artzone’s services. The Party Box has been created exactly for this, for people who want to hold an Artzone party themselves in their own home.
The Party Box contains everything you need to run a party for a minimum of 10 children from 8 years upwards – all of the equipment and a step-by-step graphical guide written by qualified art teachers, tested by parents. Customers can choose from three initial themes: ‘CARNIVAL’ – a Venetian mask making party, ‘POP’ – based on pop art, is a fabric bag painting party and ‘FASHION’ – a fashion collage design party. Every child leaves the party with their unique piece of artwork.
“Art parties are extremely popular, especially for 8+ year olds as it can be challenging to find suitable party entertainment options for this age group. We created The Party Box to enable anyone , anywhere in the country to run their own art party. They don’t need to be creative, we provide them with simple, easy to follow instructions and all of the equipment they need. We have been doing this for almost ten years so we know what works. The parties are great fun, the children learn a new creative skill and they all proudly leave with their completed artwork” says Gillian Blaney-Shorte, founder of Artzone.
The Party Box costs from €99 and can be delivered to any address nationwide.
Artzone recently moved to new premises which has enabled them to establish a permanent art school and launch The Party Zone for private parties. With a capacity of up to 30 children, The Party Zone in Rathfarnham offers three very different party options – a Clay Party, Kids on CanvasParty and a Fashion Design Party.
“The Party Zone allows us to offer the opportunity to make art pieces with equipment you wouldn’t have at home. We have all the materials of an art room – wheels for clay making, easels for painting and sewing machines for fashion . It’s a brilliant opportunity for the children to immerse themselves in something different, learn a new skill and create a unique piece of artwork” says Gillian.
Artzone was founded 10 years ago by Dublin art teacher Gillian Blaney-Shorte.
The company’s mission is to bring high quality visual art education to the nation. Artzone offers art classes in schools, parish and community centres in Dublin, Wicklow, Meath and Kildare throughout the year as well as Art Camps during school holidays.
