Artzone are proud to support Amy Graham and her Passion for Fashion doodle in the public online vote. Amy, now in The Holy Child, Killiney, is shortlisted in the 1st – 3rd Year Category.

Please go to http://www.google.ie/doodle4google/2012/vote.html#d=d4-5 before the 6th February and vote for Amy. A vote for Amy is also a vote for Dublin as there is only one shortlisted entry per county in each category.

Peter Flaherty wins again – Credit Union Art Competition

Congratulations to Peter from the Art Team at Artzone. Peter achieved a Special Merit in the highly competitive Teen Age Group at the Credit Union Art Competition with this fabulously intricate portrait drawing.

Peter is a long standing student of the Artzone Teen Art Group in Ballyroan, and now works with Liam as an Art Assistant for some of the younger groups!

Reminder to all Artzone Teens that the entry date for the Christmas Card Design Competition is the 15th November. All entries will be posted on our Facebook Page (www.facebook.com/artzone.ie) on the 16th of November.

The entry which recieves the most ‘likes’ or ‘comments’ will be the Artzone Christmas Card and win a fabulous Faber Castell Polychromus Pencil Set.

02 Sept 2011 – New Artzone Class @ Mount Merrion Community Centre

Mount Merrion Community Centre has long been a happy party venue for Artzone Parties. We have waited all this time to get a good afternoon slot to launch an after school art class.

Mount Merrion is a modern and vibrant Centre with activity, a great locations for a new Children’s Art. The class will run on Tuesday afternoons at 4.15 – 5.15pm and will launch in time for our new academic year on Tuesday 13th of September.

23rd August – Artzone launch new class in Foxrock

Following years of persistent parent enquiries Artzone are happy to finally announce a new Art Class in the fabulous new Foxrock Parish Pastoral Centre at the top of Kill Avenue.

The new centre is modern and bright, and excellent facility for Children’s Art. The class will run on Tuesday afternoons at 3pm and will launch in time for our new academic year on Tuesday 13th of September.

Sarah has already taken some advance bookings from local summer camp students at Dundrum and Glenageary.

04th August 2011 – Artzone Relaunch Weekly Art Class in Greystones

Due to constant phone calls and persistent demand Artzone will relaunch our weekly art class in St Patricks Parish Centre on Church Road on Monday afternoons from 4.30 – 5.30.

At the same time Lead Artzone Teacher, Dermot will launch a class exclusively for the pupils of Newtownmountkennedy Primary School at 2.30 – 3.30 on Mondays.

While not quite local, there will also be a Teen Art Group starting in St Paul’s Parish Centre, Glenageary on Satuday mornings from 12.15 – 1.30 to cater for pupils graduating from our senior groups. These teen groups work intensively on focused art projects over a 10 week period.
